When they reinforce their ego by putting you down, don't listen, just hear.
When they raise their voice to you, don't listen, just hear.
When you are hurt, don't listen, just hear.
When they take your speech and twist it, don't listen, just hear.
When they express their own frustration and take it out on you, don't listen, just hear.
Nobody can hurt you if you don't let them.
Nobody has the right to enter your world and shatter it so casually.
Therefore, when they try to hurt you, DON'T LISTEN:
Just listen.
