My unicorn and I

There was a unicorn

he was free,

although we didn't know each other,

He wanted to find me.

I knew that by my side

could rest,

that he would find the magic,

and time at liberty.

They had pursued him

already at war,

they wanted his beautiful horn

like just another trophy.

They couldn't defeat him.

and he managed to escape,

He climbed a thousand heights,

two stars and a sea.

He knew my stories,

“Stories to dream about…”

His mother read them to him

when he was going to bed.

He remembered that he was young,

with great potential,

and to believe in its magic

I could save him.

One day in January,

and very tired already,

I took him in my arms

and I gave it pasture.

He told me that the moon

It already has two faces,

One is beautiful and sings,

The other one hides her face.

He told me that in his world

there is no chance encounter,

that you ask of the wind,

what you want to find.

What's up, Council of Wizards?

and that they hatched a plan,

that he would come with me

and stay to play.

-Only from your shadows

You will be protected,

Be brave and be strong,

You will find the way.

The unicorn was talking to me

and her skin began to glow,

She regained her beauty,

and he wanted to stay.

-I want to live with you,

and I will never leave,

I want to write to you

and help you paint.

The birds are colorful,

with salty reflections,

and that all the children

so they can taste them.

My precious unicorn,

He is safe now.

He doesn't hide, he isn't afraid,

He is happy, he can love.
