What if it rains balls?

“The virtue you bestow is reflected in the way you relate to others.”

What you receive is simply your own momentum returning amplified. It's like when you play paddle tennis against a fronton; how you receive the ball depends on your own movements.

Nothing else in life is like the fronton swallowing every shot you take, and then getting hit by shots from all sides. This happens because in the Universe reciprocity isn't one-to-one: we expect that if we give something to someone, that person will reciprocate in the same way, which is why we get disappointed if it doesn't happen.

It is true that giving and receiving are the same, only that everything we give comes back to us, but from different sources.

Therefore, and consistent with this law, our own impulse is more important than the response, although the different "balls" we receive set the pattern for how many shots we have made.
